A Tale of Two Tempranillos Wine Dinner

  • DateMon, Oct 30th 2017
  • Time7:00 PM
  • LocationBocado Worcester

Tempranillo has a long and abundant history in Rioja as being Spain’s highest quality red in the international market. Ribera del Duero, which lies southwest of Rioja, also makes wine with Tempranillo. Ribera wines, Spain’s best kept secret, are now receiving major accolades from the wine community that cannot go unnoticed. Rioja wines reflect a balanced old world style of wine making that includes the regulating of when the wines are released. Ribera del Duero also looks at the aging process before releasing their wines using a combination of French and American oak, but does so in a more new world style with bigger and brighter reds. Come join us for a night showcasing these two great wine regions and one of Spain’s most respected grapes.
