A SPANISH EXPEDITION
Spain is filled with a tremendous amount of wines with different styles, flavors, and textures. They also have a wave of wines recently that have been gaining popularity. The region has been making and creating wines for thousands of years with finesse and elegance.
We will start with a Rosado from the Basque Country, light and effervescent, with great balance. Next, we will move on to the Canary Islands, with a beautiful red made from ancient grapes that are starting to be seen more often in vineyards. Third, we move to the northern coast of Spain. In Ribera Sacra, reds are king in this mainly white winemaking region. Lastly, we will go to Toro, a wine-making region along the Duoro River, where one of the best Bodegas in the world has mastered an elegant-style red in this very bold, big red wine region.
