Join us for a comparative tasting of wines from two ancient old world regions paired with chef’s four course menu. We will look at bubbles from Italy, then move into side by side tastings for 3 courses.
Muscadet vs Muller-Thurgau, from Loire Valley to Alto Adige, are two wines that have light and crisp complex flavors that are great for seafood and shellfish.
We will look at two very elegant medium bodied reds, Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo, that have brought both regions high accolades for their high quality wines.
The main course will be an homage to Crozes-Hermitage and Maremma Toscana, a Syrah versus a Super Tuscan, big wines that will stand up to chef’s main course.
Dessert will be all about the Banyuls and chocolate. We will have back to back vintages, 2013 and 2014, of Banyuls from M. Chapoutier for a decadent chocolate and wine experience.
